Our Mission...
God’s Outreach Ministry is an evangelism ministry focused
on Charlotte’s most impoverished communities. God’s
Outreach manages one of Charlotte’s largest grocery
distribution ministries annually distributing over 10,000
grocery bags to needy families at locations in both east and
west Charlotte. God’s Outreach also manages over a dozen
blockbuster Community Outreaches featuring free groceries,
free hair-cuts, free clothing, free Bibles, and free dinner
for all attendees. The Community Outreaches draw over 1000
people on average and include services like Job Link, Health
Screenings, and Drug and Alcohol Abuse Counseling. At God’s
Outreach every bag of groceries, every hair-cut, and every
free meal is given with a clear presentation of the life-changing
message of the Gospel.
Our Leader... John Dorsey’s testimony is one
of a ‘Bad Little Boy’ transformed by the power
of Jesus Christ. As a teenager John was a gang leader in Los
Angeles and frequented some of the most notorious inner city
neighborhoods in America. When John shares his testimony he
speaks of the temporary high’s he got from cocaine and
liquor, how he spent jail time in eleven states, and how it
feels to be homeless and in need of a warm meal. In 1990 this
‘Bad Little Boy’ was forever changed by Christ.
As an Evangelist John’s personal mission is to win the
gang banger, the down and outer, the lost and abused to Christ.
